Looking back

What happened that day

On April 4, Rehoboth Awareness Network held its first community meeting—a welcoming space centered on autism awareness, education, encouragement, and support.

Families, caregivers, children, advocates, and community members spent the day connecting and learning from one another. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, we celebrated every child and strengthened the relationships that help families feel seen and supported.

The gathering reminded us that lasting change begins when people choose to listen, speak up, and walk alongside one another. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this first meeting possible.

The people who made it special

Community showed up

Parents and caregivers brought their experiences. Children brought their joy and individuality. Friends, advocates, volunteers, and community supporters brought open hearts and a willingness to learn. Every person who attended helped create a warm space where families could connect without judgment.
